Welcome to Blossomfield Cricket Club.
Please take a moment to have a look around our website.

Discover more about our multi-sports club here.

Blossomfield Cricket Club formed in 1941 and has seen many years of success in its long and proud history. Although we now play as Solihull Blossomfield, the Blossomfield name is one of the most recognisable in club cricket, winning many honours and developing county standard cricketers, over the years.

We look forward to the 2019 season, having been promoted into Division 1 of the Warwickshire Cricket League (WCL), which has been greatly strengthened following the reduction of divisions in the Birmingham League.

We now have a 4th XI in the WCL, giving our talented and promising youth cricketers the opportunity to gain valuable senior playing time.

In 2019, we have entered the new 100 Ball Competition, which will take place during June and July, alongside the Cricket World Cup.

We also field a Midweek T20 XI, as well as a very competitive Under 17 side.

The development of young cricketers, both boys and girls, in our junior section remains one of our main priorities. We recognise that the successful development of juniors will lead to the future sustainability of our club at a high standard and provide our youngsters with the very best coaching to make sure they have every opportunity, both to enjoy their cricket and learn the necessary skills to optimise their talent.

Under the expert coaching and guidance of our qualified staff, we encourage their involvement in senior cricket at the earliest opportunity. Combined with our brand new, state-of-the-art practice nets, there are few better places to play cricket in the Midlands.

With over 800 members, our club not only offers a great place to play cricket with excellent sports facilities, it also offers an excellent place to socialise. Incorporating all ages and backgrounds, it is part of our club ethos to encourage participation in various social events, such as our Quiz and Curry evenings, BBQs, our big Bonfire and Fireworks Night and End of Season Dinner.

Aims & Goals – All senior teams to gain promotion. – Continue to recognise that the future success and sustainability of our club will be based upon the development of talented, young cricketers and their early involvement in senior cricket. – Further promote a friendly social environment for all ages, genders and backgrounds. – Increasingly promote cricket throughout our community by expanding our coaching presence in local schools to encourage more youngsters to take up the game.– Enjoy our cricket in a competitive but positive manner.
